10th for TMS Racing April 14, 2008; IMAGE First (828.612.4333) NEWTON, NC – After two straight top-5 finishes to start the season, TMS Racing finished 10th last Saturday night at Hickory Motor Speedway after suffering from mechanical problems. “We had a front spring collapse in qualifying and it put us in the back,” commented Chris Lewis after the race. “We tried fix the problem with a different spring for the race but just didn’t have the time to get the travel correct and it hurt us in the race, it was one of them deals,” continued Lewis. The team, racing on a race to race basis, is currently tied for third in the point standings and is looking to return this Saturday night for the first of four 100-lap special events at Hickory in 2008.
